Are true stories more exciting?

Sometimes when I read true stories I’m yearning for an excited wonder, especially first-times, which I do not see sometimes. The ones that feel ‘so experienced, so many times, this is one of those times’, sounds like they’re having morning breakfast.

I latch onto stories where it feels exciting, more than mostly descriptions of Acts.

Right. There's no tension in those stories, because there's nothing at stake, nothing to be gained or lost. It's just people doing what they normally do without any sense of conflict. If a story is going to be interesting, the characters need some significant (in the eyes of the character) challenge to overcome. Without it, the reader is left asking "so what?" Why does this matter? Why are you telling me this?

"I got laid last night by my wife. We did it in missionary, and reverse cowgirl, and doggy style, and then I came on her tits." Is a pretty fucking boring story.

"I met this strange woman last night who did everything in her power to try to seduce me to cheat on my wife. I was so tempted because she was so hot, but I somehow managed with all my white-knuckled strength of will to resist her. Then I found out that my wife had put one of her friends up to it to test my loyalty, and luckily I passed. So, I got laid last night by my wife. We did it in missionary, and reverse cowgirl, and doggy style, and then I came on her tits." The sex is verbatim the same, but now there's some sense of risk or challenge, and sex serves as the well-deserved happy ending. It's more exciting because we know what the narrator had to overcome to get it. The story is in the lead-up, not in the sex.

Without tension or conflict, it's just a fact (and not a particularly interesting or unique one). Just because a story is "true" doesn't excuse it from being an actual story.

Don't believe everything that you read.

Truth is mostly in the mind of the reader. So unless we know someone who was actually involved in some part of the story, no.

I don't know Ls63563, but I find her quick forum posts about her sexual activities pretty hot. I think part of it is how casual she is about things.

Of my writing collection only 3 are "true". But they are not my highest scoring ones. Both of those are pure imagination. Of course, my scores are fairly mundane so the differences aren't enormous.

However, you might have enjoyed writing them more, or in a different way, to others. Scores, badges, rosettes etc. are some people's yardstick of success, but the one that means most to you. It's the only one that really matters.

I’d love to know the titles of the three which have a basis in true events! Maybe the porn theatre exhibitionist!

I think you wrote that Brian And His Mom was based on true events.

It’d be very arousing to know the ones which started as true events, darkroot50 !

They’re my favorite, almost, stories I like to read. Ok so I’m gullible…but it’s good for my imagination 😉

Brian and his Mom is fantasy. The 3 that are "true" are the Milf series.

[ Brian And His Mom is a good fantasy! — I read it and favourited it!]

Aha — ‘My MILF Weekend’ parts 1, 2 and 3. Woww that sounds awesome! I will check them out as I have the opportunity. And I will fantasize that ALL OF IT actually happened to you! Heee! Thanks, darkroot50!

Thanks for favoriting Brian's Mom. The MILF stories were my first submissions. Hope you enjoy them.
