Truth is, I write for my own pleasure. I found Lush and was given the opportunity to give my stories a "trial run" to see if anyone would like them. My stories tend to be quite long. The last one I published here was in six parts. Each part drew fewer readers, but those responding to them continued to ask for more. I have some that are over 100 pages (in Word) that I keep to myself in hopes of making them into an erotic book.
Those that have read my stories are very pleased and that encourages me to continue and excites me. I'm not too interested in the short story wanker as that isn't the audience I want to develope, but very much appreciate the loyalty of those that follow my writing. I'm a novice, but trying to develop my style and readership. To me it is the quality of the story and the writing, not just push it in, hammer away and cum.
I've read some wonderful stories here and hope that I can achieve that level of quality. The number of "page reads" is reassuring, but doesn't represent good writing. I hope that those who read my stories will provide me some constructive advice. My goal is to get better at what I enjoy doing. I've had some wonderful comments and I deeply appreciate them.
