I give away details about my characters gradually and leave a lot to the imagination.

At times I worry I am too detailed in my stories! I have written whole chapters just on the backstory before any of my characters even get undressed! But then I write erotic stories not porn! I want my readers to get to know my characters and even relate to them, not just read about sex. I guess you could say I write erotic relationship stories not erotic sex stories!

And I thank you Master Jonathan. I've read many of your stories and they certainly hold my attention from beginning to end. We all have our likes and dislikes and there certain categories of erotica that absolutely do not interest me at all. But in general, setting the background, the venue allows the reader to be drawn into the story as if they were there and that is the hallmark of the best stories in my opinion.
