Can anyone tell me how long it usually takes for stories to be published online?

For this site, usually 24 hours, but it is all dependant on how busy they are and how long the queue is for stories that need to be verified. So perhaps expect more than 24 hours.

There are 60+ stories in the queue so we're extra busy just at the moment. We'll try and get to them all as quickly as we can.

Keep in mind that Gold and Platinum memberships get priority in the queue so if you're going to be submitting regularly, it might be worth the money.

Yeah. Just to clarify... 24 hours is about right for gold members, which kicks you up to head of the queue. Before getting gold status it varied. Sometimes I got a response in a couple of days. I think the longest I waited was about 10 days. It all depends on how many stories are waiting for approval ahead of yours.

Don't believe everything that you read.

I find it's usually sooner than that, though, unless things get really bad.
