Are there any overused tropes in stories that you are simply sick of?
18 year olds speaking like 10 year olds?
Office sex that involves generic office jobs that are never specified?
Rich older women seducing pool boys or other ridiculous occupations?
Personally for me, when I first started writing at the age of 17 my fantasies generally involved "an innocent girl being coerced into a world of kinkiness."
From the Marquis de Sade, to the Story of O, to Fifty Shades of Grey, this trope is continuously used over and over. For centuries, this has been a staple of erotic writing. It's so common and so easy to do. It's obviously a common fantasy with both men and women... People seem to relate to the "journey."
