I don't think I could write a story that had 6,000 characters. How would I keep all their names straight?

I feel you, Rachel. Assuming that one does this for fun, and not necessarily in a hot pursuit to because a rich and famous (or even career) writer, it sucks when pressure to produce at a certain level negates the enjoyment. I've had a lot of trouble getting ideas realized into story form lately. And as much as I want to write, I won't if the process itself stresses me out to the point that it's no longer fun.

Good luck, and here's hoping you feel better about things another day soon.
