Ok so the problem is,I come up with a lot of good ideas for stories. And I write here and there but not the amount like I want.Anyone else have this problem? If so please share.

I have had a friend tell me that taking a hour out of your day writing 500-1000 words everyday can help make writing easier. And that also to not have social media open because it can be a distraction, which I have a habit of doing when I wanna write.^_^

LOL,more tips and advice are wanted and needed.I wanna hear what other ways you all have for dealing with this.

This would be better in Ask the Authors.

Writing should be fun so different things are going to work for different people.
Personally I go to a library so I don't get distracted, I only go when I feel like it so it's not an imposition.
Gosh you Mods work quickly! Thanks.

You've just summed up my experience perfectly. Even now, I'm procrastinating on this reply, rather than writing the friggin' werewolf romance story I've got to have done by Christmas. The short version is, turn off Lush and just crack on with it.

Still, I might go check out what they're talking about over in Ask the Gals...
My latest story is a racy little piece about what happens when someone cute from work invites you over to watch Netflix and Chill.
Go to the Forum section and the 2nd entry is "Writers Resources".

Read it!
Study it!

ALL of it!

There are many very talented people here who give freely to anyone that wants to try.
I am always a gentleman.

You have to be disciplined (no, not spanked - except Sprite if she reads this!!) If you've got a goal in mind about how many words you want to write in a day / week / month you need to set targets. I sometimes unplug my network and don't allow myself to plug back in until I've got to 1000 words.

Try this:

Night one: Sketch out the storyline of a new story. Set your characters, what they do and where and why.
Night two: Write at least 500 words. Remember that you don't have to start at the beginning.
Night three: Read what you have written, amend as necessary. Write until you have at least 1000 words in total.
Night four: Read what you have written, amend as necessary. Write until you have at least 1500 words in total.

Keep doing this until the story is finished.

Do something else for a couple of days.

Come back to your story and read it through. Correct mistakes and improve it.

Leave it for another couple of days. Carefully proofread for punctuation and spelling.

Publish it.
Set aside an area just for writing. A desk a table, something away from distractions.

I've found that helps me a lot
Thank you all these tips, are very helpful.I hope more people will give me more tips and advice.
For me, erotica needs a basis idea. like... Older+younger or Teacher+student or Nurse+patient.

If its just two ordinary people with no special characteristics then it will get boring. The more it goes towards something of a fantasy someone would have, then it'll appeal to someone.

Descriptive writing and good dialogue are also a big thing of importance. The build-up is so often ignored that it irritates me sometimes. If you jump right into the sexual acts then you don't get to establish any solid ideas on what these people are like or how we should imagine them.

This is also a personal preference of mine, but I sometimes dislike it when let's say a teacher and a student are having an affair and it's established off the bat that they've already hooked up once before. Unless it's one trying to win back the other, it kinda kills the "fantasy fulfillment" vibe.
