My first LS submission, a honest-to-goodness true life experience entitled, A BRIEF AFFAIR, recounts the first time the future Ms Foreskin and I, you know, consorted. In what passes for my brain, I decided that meant it should be submitted in the "First Time" category. Unencumbered by anything resembling prior planning, I failed to note that the contest rules are inclusive when it comes to defining "First Time." In contradistinction, the regular category definition is a narrowly focused set of regulations that calls for all stories coming under its jurisdiction pertain to virginity and the loss thereof.
As revealed in the story, while my two main characters were pure of heart, both had previously partaken in premarital, you know, consorting.
So the question I now bring before this assembly is should I change the category and, if so, how and to what?
ETA: At no additional cost, my pitiful prose seems to be missing a "comp entry" tag. Whatever the reason, I know it's my fault. As a long-time married man, I've come to accept the fact it's always my fault. Any suggestions on how to correct that situation?
