Why would anyone flag their own story as inappropriate?

I can't think of a single reason.

You can delete your own story, you can edit your own story. This has me totally and utterly stumped LOL dontknow

My guess is they didn't like how it turned out/looked on the page, and wanted you to delete it so they could start over.

You have to go a little out of your way to flag your own story as inappropriate. I would guess they didn't realise they could delete their own story.
