Yes. It takes about 30 seconds to pick from one of the many uploaded images that Lush offers as avatar choices or you can upload any personalized image you want in even less time. To just have an impersonal generic avatar just seems... I dunno... lazy. No offence. Most people don't use their real pics as their avatars, so picking an image that represents you on some level will differentiate you in the sea of red/white zombies.

Yep I wont add people who dont as it's so easy just to upload a avatar having a sort of picture to the person i'm talking with gives them a face that i can familiarize myself with and that in tern gives me a sort of trust bond with that person so if they dont even bother with that then i wont bother with them.

What is the deal with you guys .... the Guest AV ..... NO other personal info or pics on your profile, YET you wanna know what we look like, how tall, breast size, etc etc

When, I do allow a guy to "view" my personal photos .... they think I am RUDE when I ask, "so .... are you going to share your photos?"

These are some of the FOREVER excuse why they (the guys) don't share:

1) .... I work in an industry that would frown if they found me here (like, what? .... your work suspects you are here and they are gonna go looking at lush to find you????)

2) .... I had someone from work find me here, it was so embarrassing (oh, yeah, what about the person that found you??)

3) .... I am married .... so it's not cool to share my pics

Yeah I agree. I figure you could at least take the time to put a cartoon or a scenic pic or something there. I got excuse #1 the last time I asked a silhouette about it in a chat. I promptly went through my friends list and deleted all silhouettes.

I like a picture, but it's not a deal breaker. What is a deal breaker is how he approaches me, whether we meet in a chat room, email, or instant chat. I want to read about him in his profile, find out something about him, so if its blank, I don't respond. And the approach is most important. For me it depends on two things:

1) How they approach me and whether it shows any indication that they have, for example, read one of my stories, or looked at my profile.
"Hi, will you be my mistress" tends to come up a lot. That will get you nowhere. "Hi, I read your story and I really liked it," may be more successful. "Hi, I'm so-and-so, I really liked the way you portrayed x-character, what do you think about y-interesting topic of discussion," will get you an express reply.

2) Whether their profile shows them to be interested in... well anything really. Besides sex, we all get that one, I need to know what ELSE.
So if your profile shows cock pics and interests are listed as "tits" and "creampies" then you will be ignored. If they list something real, great. If it lists things I like too, even better. And it helps if it shows that you have posted a comment on a story or on the forum within the activity list's memory.

Ahh, hang on, all of the above applies to people with pictures too. So I guess the short answer to your question is no, not at all.

Although, lack of avatar pic tends to go hand in hand with tossers who want to cam with sluts. It's a stereotype, but an accurate one, unfortunately. Does it really take much effort to run a google image search and pick something?

And then, take another 15 minutes to fill out a bio telling me about yourself. put up wall paper, make it catch my eye, make yourself sound interesting. thing of it as shopping. if i walk into the store and see a 20 red and white generic looking pairs of sneakers and one that is bright pink with glow in the dark shoe laces, you think i'm going to pick thru the 20 identical pair or go straight to the pink ones and try them on? Yeah, i might find one of those 20 that is really comfy, but i'm not going to spend an hour trying them all on.

It's really hard being on Lush and having a vagina. No matter what your profile says, dudes are going to do all that shit you just said. And I admit, when I first joined Lush I was just like that. A kid in a candy store. There were tits and pussy on so many profiles. I just wanted to see them all. Then I realized there were real people behind the avatars and pics.
