I don't like the word at all. In fact I posted it in the "hated words" thread. It does not create a good image in my head, and is akin to "gash" for me. And as another stated, when I read it in a story, I will either stop reading the story or it really puts cold water on it for me sexually. Now with that said, I have used the word... as a derogatory term for a woman who TRULY deserves it. It is to me, the worse insult you can give... and unfortunately there are some out there that fits the word. But they are few.

I truly hate this word. I won’t read it, and if I see it in a story, I either stop reading, or change it to pussy. I think it’s so harsh, and gross. I won’t even say it, unless I am truly pissed off, and refer someone as it. Which in most cases, they are. But it’s extreme for me to have to use it. It’s so unnecessary to use, especially in stories.

I guess that must be it - to some of us it's just a strong word for anatomy . . . cock and cunt are on the same level for me. Where as I rarely think of it in regard to a female - I don't recall ever calling someone a cunt, and a time or two when I was called one i thought it was an odd insult choice and had 0 affect on me.

I do agree with not liking this word being used in stories. It is a turn off and I am just like eh come one use something else. I dont see it as degrading though even though that is how it is commonly used especially in the kind of stories I read on here. It is just not sexy.
