Just curious what you think when you see a commercial for like tampons, liners or other assorted products.. Just always seemed inappropriate to me. I see a ton of commercials for female hygiene and it just makes me think, "uh yeah ewww ..Ill never be able to unthink that, Thanks kotex.."
I know it's natural and all that but is it absolutely necessary for there to be so many, most guy products are deodorant or I don't know Viagra? Its just always bothered me watching those. Do the advertisements actually help you? are they actually helpful and relevant?
(And for the inevitable men that will be answering also, how do you feel seeing them?)
Are any advertisements truly helpful? If you want or need something, you'll go looking for it. I've never watched an advert and thought 'oh, that has really HELPed me'.
Is it inappropriate? Err...no.
I personally rarely watch tv I haven't recorded - so I just fast forward the adverts, but when I do end up watching them... they don't bother me, I just find them dull. But hey, it pays for the program I'm watching - so who gives a shit?
Adverts are just giving people an opportunity to make informed choice so each to their own. Once I find a product that suits I have a tendency to stick with what works best. Its not inappropriate it pays the way for the programme.
I think they can be inappropriate at certain times of the broadcast day. For example, when I was first dating as a teen and was sitting on the couch with my BF and a kotex commercial came on, I wanted to dig a hole and jump in it. I was so uncomfortable. He was too.
I don't need to see Gold Bond commercials for his bits. Or Cialis or feminine deodorant spray either.
None of them ever "helped" me or my friends in anyway. We either talked to each other about whatever the problem was or just tried a product to see if we liked it. If it was really a problem, we'd ask our gyno.
its a fact of life get over it! they are only advertising new products that may make our time of the month more comfortable!
Everything happens for a reason. Live for the moment and have no regrets.
I know you are young.
But a you sure you are ready of an adult situation?
