The horny factor usually occurs at ovulation (approx 14 days after the first day of your period but cycles vary), so yeah - about a week after sounds right. I definitely notice a difference - but only when off the pill. If you're on the pill, you don't have this ovulation hormonal effect, so there shouldn't be much of a difference (physiologically speaking).

For me it’s the week after.
