I used to shave my pubic area into a little triangle but ended up shaving it all off and have kept it that way because it feels better to me but I already have very sensitive skin and that being a sensitive area even though I use lotions and oils after shaving I stil break out with small red razor bumbs after a day or two. So what I'm asking for help with is if anyone knows anything that would be helpful?

I could not think about going back to a bush..Sorry to your bushies not offense intended

I am completely shaved too and have been for many years. I have never had that problem either. I always make sure that my skin is very moist before I shave and that my razor is very sharp. I have heard of women having that issue who use cheap disposable razors that dull very quickly. Get yourself a good quality razor designed for women. It is well worth the extra cost!

If that doesnt help, them maybe you do need to see a dermatologist.

Did you have this problem when you had the triangle? Which direction do you shave in?
I'm usually completely bare or just a landing strip. Don't usually have the problem but it has happened a time or two. Make sure you're using a very clean new razor. This stuff also works great.

Aloe vera gel is very soothing

Also distilled witch hazel (you can buy it from any drug store/chemist) applied with a cotton wool ball or pad will quickly soothe the area and close the pores...

Like CG said, make sure that you are using a good quality razor and perhaps a nice soothing shaving oil (king of shaves is good)

If the bumps are breaking out a day or two after, then I'd be inclined to think that it might be the irritation of the hair growing back in and rubbing on your clothing - again maybe you need to shave there every day or every other day...
Get it waxed instead.

If that's not an option and you want to stick with razors, make sure it's extremely well-moisturized with shave-gel before you shave, use a clean/sharp razor and don't go over the same area again and again - that causes irritation and ingrown hairs, and then moisturize again after shaving (non-scented lotion, or a bit of baby oil).
i agree with doll...i have mine sugared, which is like waxing but is supposed to be better for the skin and sounds hotter...lol

shaving just puts me into itching hell from almost the very first moment!

exactly! I tossed the razor ... and about 6 years ago found the sugaring. It is way nicer, no itching .... I did have a wax done once since I started sugaring .... and I found that to be ... ugh .... ingrown hairs, yuck.

I'll always stick to sugaring.
I agree with LMB and PA. I make my own sugar wax and do it myself. I take my time, its less painful and you're saving $$.
Plus the wax smells like lollies smile
