You all know that I am older than many of my Lush Sisters and maybe that is why this so unclear to me.

I see you ladies out for dinner or at a club or maybe just having a late night drink. You are dressed to be appealing and you with a guy that looks like he may be homeless and then to top it all your looks as if he has not shaved for three days.

Is This Hot or am I missing something? I have gone out with guys that were unshaven, and no, I do not mean bearded. But there were few second dates, unless there were changes.

Is this the Bad Boy Syndrume? Of course I never found bad boys any better than an other group of men. Help me unders
tand.
Hmm... I'm not a huge fan of the homeless/unshaven look, although it is a style that I believe is supposed to give the aura of being non-conformist and "arty"...

Is this the look you are talking about?

Cause yeah, it sucks. I think it's mean to convey that the guy is above all the usual trappings and superficialities of life (like shaving and soap). It's not a good look in my opinion, but I know a lot of musicians and artists favour it. I think it's just a trend, and definitely a SoCal favourite at the moment.

I personally don't find it attractive. These guys are usually psychologically high maintenance, even though physically they strive to convey the opposite.
My friends always joke that I go for the 'tramps'..

There's a fine line between gorgeously rugged and 'I have no shower, bed, hair brush, flannel or clothes that fit me. Some men seem to forget about said line and overstep it way, way too far.

Little Sister I am glad that I am not the only one who see it this way. Thanks DD

Agree! Just look at my Colombian papi! He's gorgeous ♥

Yeah, i am waiting for that dude to show up at my door to pick my daughter up on a date. If he looks like the above noted, SLAM goes the door.

Iron a pair of pants, shave, iron or dry clean a shirt, take a shower, and have something to say. Otherwise, don't care if I don't know you.
I was visiting my friend Brett, this past autumn at his home. His wife was out of town visiting her family elsewhere, so it was just him and I and briefly, his 23 year old son.

Aaron came home from his work and jumped in his shower, he had a hot date that evening.

I had not seen him in a few years. Dude owns a bachelor's degree and is going for his masters, staying at home, saving some bucks...and he's a fcking gym rat in addition to being pretty damned intelligent.

But he's into 'that look', something fierce. Unshaven, disheveled, looks like he's always got bed-head.

He shouldn't even be attempting to grow facial hair as it is coming in all patchy. He keeps his hair medium short and uncombed. Looks like he's gelling, as he's got spikes shooting off in 100 angled directions.

He comes running through his father's den to spend 3 minutes saying "Hi and Bye" and his dad remarks...

"Son, what's up with your hair?"

"Whaddya mean, Dad?"

"It looks like you have a pair of ferrets fucking on top of your head."

I lost it. I laughed at that comment for the next six or seven hours.
The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.

Sounds like something I might say if I had kids LOL.

Hell I have a full beard don't ever plan to cut it off either but I keep mine well groomed can't stand not to. I have had long hair down past my shoulder blades to and recently at that always kept it well washed and groomed. Can't stand when my hair gets that greasy feeling to it. But beard on me is more of a mountainman type look
“I'm not one of those complicated, mixed-up cats. I'm not looking for the secret to life.... I just go on from day to day, taking what comes.”~Frank Sinatra~
It really doesn't matter to me. I've been with unshaven guys (which of course around here is the fad) and with bearded guys and clean shaven guys. There is no difference!!! Please don't think that just because a guy chooses a look determines how he performs no less than how a girl presents herself can tell a guy how she is in bed!

So true!!! Someone with the looks & beard like J is welcome at my "dinnertable" anytime
I have always been attracted to the "Bad Boy, Rocker" look. I love Long Hair, Unshaven is Hot as long as just a couple days and he is clean. But I do not like full beards or mustcahes at all. I have never been with nor will I ever consider being with a guy with a full beard. I just find it a major turn off. I know this sounds stupid, but hey, I like what I like! I would never expect a guy to shave his beard for me just like I wouldnt want to cut my hair or something if the guy didnt like it.

Yes Mexican Goddess, he is beautiful and most woman would love to have a young man like this. But would be even more beautiful, with a shave and appear like he was looking for a special woman to impress?

A man that suits facial hair and black clothing? Why would one want to change that? YUM.
hmm i like scruffy unshaven men- i met this guy from south africa once and he was so scruffy but in a really rugged and sultry way! but he always smelled really good! I think the key is I like scruffy men, but a) he has to be hygenic and b) there's a time and a place that calls for smart dress etc.

I wouldn't call this guy scruffy or unkept. He's obviously well groomed and appears to be somewhat stylish from what little we can see of his outfit. I don't think it's the idea of facial hair that WHR was talking about. It's that grungy, rolled out of bed, can't be bothered to shave/brush my hair look with that deconstructed homeless-chic wardrobe. It's a deliberate "style"... This guy definitely isn't doing it though (which is a good thing). Check my "Justin-Bobby" pic above for a good example.

This guy appears to be clean and pretty hot. I like that look although longer hair would be more of turn on for me. But If he didnt shave in a few days, Id be out the door. Damn, Im picky! LOL

I'm definitely not into the filthy homeless look, but a little scruff can be sexy.
