How to ask a lady if she is willing to be a "lover"?

I dated a lady for awhile ten years ago. We have remained friends since, but now I would like to have an affair with her, as I am living with someone else now. I do not want to change this situation at the moment - maybe I will in a year or two.

I recently had lunch with Terry and we enjoyed our time together. She told me she isn't dating anyone and is content not to be in the dating game. We are both in out mid-60's.

So how can I ask her if she wants to be in a discreet dating relationship, as my lover? She knows I am living with someone and is on my facebook page, so she can see our relationship. Would you be offended by this overture?
