It's 4 a.m, the telephone rings and at the other end of the line is the drunken voice of this ex saying he loves you...would you find it romantic?

Please say yes,please,please,please,LOL.
Boyfriend yes, ex, no

Depends really on who the ex was, why we broke up, how much i hated him etc
hmmm ... good question.

There is only one guy that I'd stop myself before saying ... fuck off.

Nah, it wouldn't happen - I changed my cell number to stop those calls!! lol

good luck Javier!!

This actually happened to me once, only he asked me to marry him. I didn't find it very romantic.

did you say yes?
I wouldn't find it romantic. I'd probably just laugh and find it amusing.

I don't take anything said while drunk or high very seriously, to be honest...

If you called her sober (or did a follow-up sober call) expressing similar sentiments then I think you're starting to approach something that could be seen as romantic if she still has feelings for you.
It would probably be better advised to not call anyone after midnight and before their normal time of awakening (provided you knew them well enough to know their nocturnal habits).

Try singing the Stevie Wonder song to them, when you are sober. That was always a good ploy for me. Might get you laid again, I mean...as far as rekindling a relationship, not so much.

It wouldn't make me want him/her any more than before. Afterall there must be a reason why we arent together anymore in the first place and some drunken rant is not gonna change that. Might be kind of amusing though, lol.

HA! I think I said something along the lines of "Leave me alone, you drunk idiot!"
I am sorry.. but no. I would find it stalker-ish.
LOL, WMM...no kidding, man!

Pleeeeease don't call me at that hour of the morning drunken and wanting to be all sappy, I get up in another hour or so...could you kindly wait til then??!! lol

Seriously though, I've been out of the whole dating/wooing/I think I love you scene for quite some time...so I can't really give a proper response here lol. Just saying...ffs 3 or 4 am is quite early for that kind of stuff, especially if the caller is inhebriated or otherwise 'high'. Unless one is used to being awake at those hours of the morning and also knows that the person they're calling is too..then hey, have at it! Otherwise wait til you're sober and call at a decent wake up time, that would leave a better impression, in my opinion.
My ex on the phone saying I love you, omg no way ha ha
no. in fact, with most of my exes, it would result in my getting my phone number changed (yet again!) silly

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Oh Little Sister,

I can't believe you said that!

If he is drunk or high and calls, I would not give it any value either.

But if he calls sober to tell me he still love me or you and does not have the balls to come and express his feeling in person. l would give it no more value than a drunks call in the middle of the night.

You maybe out of the dating scene, but even if you have been married for years, you should never be out of the wooing stage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love musical moments but that song is pure cheese...I'd wonder if they were or high or drunk or something...and then I'd laugh my ass off over it
This reminds me of one of my favorite songs........You never call me when you're sober. You only want it 'cause it's over.
Been there done that recently thoughts of a restraining order come to mind!

Bunny Rabbits cute and fuzzy they want to love you but they have razor sharp teeth - don't piss them off!
Ex + Drunk= No
waking me drunk to say i love you... kiss my ass
Get on Get in Enjoy the ride
Having an ex call me at four in the morning in any condition, drunk or sober, wouldn't be romantic. There's a reason he's an ex. Calling me drunk at four am would be a reason to make him an ex.

Point well taken smile. I suppose I could have left that particular verbiage out of the mix lol. We still woooooo each other...just not as much as we used to. Hmm...actually, I think I'll check out of here now and go do some wooing ;-P
w00t!

Hey now! Wooing is not making whoopie! (oh my, flashbacks of old school Newlywed Game reruns haha).

Although the wooing helps lol, spontaneous massages work well smile.
"Oh, hi, good to hear from you, would you like to talk to my insanely jealous and hair triggered husband? 'Honey, put down your gun and come talk to my ex-boyfriend, here, he really wants to tell you much I mean to him and he"
CLICK.
"A black cat crossing your path signifies that the animal is going somewhere." - Groucho Marx
I'd probably tell him to call me back at a reasonable hour if he still felt that was sober
"I appreciate this whole seduction thing you've got going on here, but let me give you a tip: I'm a sure thing." - Vivian Ward (Julia Roberts) in Pretty Women
I'm rather cranky when I wake up, and I've slept four hours at most by then. Not the best of times to call me. I'd probably answer tell him to go blow himself and hang up.
Dare to get poisoned? Then try kissing me...
Ex is straightedge too but he has called to say I love you at times.

I'll say I love you too, I love me too or thank you.
Both my exes are female, and as much as I'd enjoy hearing they still loved me... not at 4 in the morning please!
