Does the fact that a guy may have had his testicles removed a turn-off?
hmm... never gave it much thought. i think that, if i knew before hand, so there wasn't that, woah, what the hell factor the first time, i'd be fine with it - couldn't say, tho, having never experienced that.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

This is an odd question. May I ask why it is being asked?

I know men sometimes have their testicles removed because of cancer, but they can (and from what I understand most do) replace them with prosthetic testicles. So the overall look stays the same. So in today's world, why would a man not have testicles?
Some may choose not to replace them with a prosthetic. I have never seen a discussion and was curious as to the mood about it. Once they are gone a man is on HRT and frankly a prosthetic is useless. Just curious.

Oh ok. And of course a prosthetic is "useless" in a biological sense but it does approximate the lost testicle in looks and feel. Much like some women choose to have breast augmentation after a mastectomy, and some do not. I would not say reconstructing a breast is useless, much like I would not say having a prosthetic testicle(s) is useless. Just my opinion.
A mans testicles are not what I see first to be turn on/off. Quite frankly if he had them removed and not replaced, it would not bother me at all. Perhaps thats a question to ask the males "Would you feel less of a man or attractive if you had no balls?"
My ex husband had a prosthetic. It didn't bother me either way.
I have met guys with "no balls" but never a guy without testicles. I guess after the initial surprise it wouldn't bother me.
I don't think it would really bother me?

I guess I'd respect his choices and admire him for not conforming and getting a prosthetic?

I don't know, but I really don't think it would bother me.

I guess it's somewhat similar, though less noticeable, to women who have a breast or breasts remove and choose not to have prosthetic/reconstruction...

I've been with a guy with only one ball and no prosthetic, it was quite a shock as he hadn't told me.
I really don't think I'd have a problem with it since I'm more about the man and his character than just his bits and pieces HOWEVER, as dpw confessed, I would prefer that he give me some warning before hand so we both can avoid a possible awkward moment.
Thanks for the responses. I would post in the guy Forum but quite frankly their opinions don't interest me. Actually, (no surprise) I am actually testicle-less. I avoid the ball-less phrase. I understand the mastectomy aspect as that is a visible attribute. I have warned potential lovers of the condition to lessen the "shock" factor.

Again I appreciate the feedback as my urologist always asks me and I just don't conform. I think it bothers him in some way.

Thank you.
