NO MEN!

Why won't you chat with men?

So, this is something that's bugged me for a long time. some of the girls here have 'NO MEN' in their profiles, and i'm just really curious as to why. a little personal experience here. like most women, as a new member, i was bombarded with cyber requests and attention when i first joined. at first, i tried to answer them all, if only to say, i'm flattered, but i'm not that kind of girl. eventually, it got annoying and i just out right ignored them, unless it was a guy who wanted an actual conversation. then i'd simply talk...

oh, i should mention that i identify as a lesbian, btw...

so, eventually, i made guy friends whom i enjoy talking with, sharing ideas with, and occasionally flirting with. i mean, just cause i dig girls doesn't mean i hate men.

so, back to my curiousity for those who put down 'NO MEN'... why? i assume some of you have very good reasons, or maybe not? anyways, i'm going to put up a similar post in the men's forum asking their opinions too - i know the guys read these, after all, so they might want to save your thoughts, etc, for that one. smile

I couldn't find an answer in the poll that fit me. I only say I prefer women in my blurb. But I'm not really here to 'hook-up' with either guys or girls. Just here for fun, and I usually talk to guys more than girls here, cuz most of the women here don't seem to be interested in chatting/messaging with me. Even you! ;-)

Like Beffer I could not find a proper answer

I love men and woman, but I have been with many more men than woman. I do not seem to need to look for the poor darlings, they find me just fine.

call me jaded, but when i see NO MEN! emblazoned on a 'woman's' profile - i automatically assume it's a dude. most of the women i know have no problem simply stating that they'd prefer to chat with other women.

I hadn’t even considered the fact that it could be a man, I have been making the assumption that the ladies preferred talking to other women because they were a lesbian.
