Usually people do nude modelling for photo shoots. Although I am deeply into photography, I am more interested into art forms that require me to use a brush and feel the strokes. If any of you ladies had the opportunity to be painted nude (not with charcoal like in the titanic), would you be willing to model? And I don't necessarily mean me as the artist.
I posed nude as a life model for art classes at Ohio State all through my undergrad years, but modeled more often for the photography department. I never did any nude modeling for artists after my college years, just photographic nudes, until last fall. An old Cherokee artist I knew down in North Carolina had been asking me to model for him for years, and after my grandmother died, I agreed to pose for him.
I paid my way through university with wearing a bikini and lying on a sports car for people to take my photograph, so when I was asked to remove the 3 little triangles of fabric and be drawn and painted instead, that really wasn't an issue. I can't remember even being bothered enough to see the resulting pictures from the life modelling, but the big painting that was done was pretty cool.
