pierced nipples?

Further research for my stories...
What's it like to have your nipples pierced? I don't mean, what's it like when it's being done - I presume that hurts like a bitch. But later, after they've settled down... What difference does it make to how they feel in everyday life - or when you're having sex?

Doesn't look like anyone is responding! I never have done that, nor do I desire to. No tattoos, no piercings (other than my ears). I'm just a plain and simple ol' fashioned gal! Also, no one (that I am aware of) in my circle of friends has had nipple or clitoris piercings.

Not a 'gal', but I have one nipple pierced. For me it doesn't make much difference. It's perhaps a tiny bit more sensitive, but mostly because the piercing makes the nipple protrude more. I assume that applies to men more than to women (the difference in protruding between pierced and non-pierced), as men's nipples tend to be smaller. The difference in sensitivity is very individual I'd say.

I don't have my nipples pierced as I'm afraid to lose sensitivity.
It can happen or as Noll has stated, your nipples become more sensitive.

I have my nipples pierced and even one of them is double pierced. I love them.. they are sooo sensitive and I feel like my nipples are a little dressed up with jewelry. Have them since I was 21 and don't plan on ever taking them out. All of my ex gfs loved them, but one.
