In the 1930 movie "Hell's Angels", Jean Harlow says, "Would you be shocked if I put on something more comfortable?"

This phase has been misquoted and parodied so often that it now usually means that she will be slipping into something more sexy and a lot less comfortable.

So the question for you Ladies of Lush: When you excuse yourself to "Slip into something more comfortable" is it actually to put on something more comfortable or something sexy and less comfortable?

when I was dating my children's father yes I would..we would come home from some work function ala Christmas party.. work

and I would always slip away and put on lingerie

I liked setting the mood after being in a suit or black tie outfit

Nah I actually slip into something comfortable like a pair of sweats/shorts and an over sized tshirt.
