What do you ladies of women who workout, at a co-ed gym, with just a sport bra on top?
I can't say it is a trend, and my no means common, but I say at least once a week I see a woman at the gym
with just a sports bra on top. Most are very plain white, but yesterday's was pretty, if not sexy.
As a guy, I'm not complaining, but what do most women think?
Also, I'm in liberal California, is this just a California thing or a nationwide trend?
I wear one ecause going topless is usually frowned on.

I only wear a sports jock strap at the gym. Well, that and an Abraham Lincoln hat.

While as a guy I want to encourage the trend, it is a family gym. Fourteen and up can use the equipment on the their own.
Younger kids with a parent present.
I have a feeling that if you saw multitudes of women with titties flopping everywhere, not wearing sports bras, you'd still complain. People wear sports bras so we don't give ourselves black eyes when we run/jog/walk or work out in general.
I used to wear 2 sports bras when I ran cuz just one wouldn't keep me under control. Now I swim at the university natatorium and just wear a bikini. Much more comfortable. If you're looking for thrills, go to the pool!
Sports bras are generally substantially thicker in material than regular bras, so I fail to see how wearing one alone would be somehow indecent. And as Sprite pointed out, bikinis and swimsuits are a thing; are you also arguing that women should cover up at the swimming pool and beaches and wherever else because you can't control yourself?
Lots of sports bras are designed to be worn alone as a top. I don't think it is a "liberal thing" or anything other than the development of improvements in sports bras in general and a comfort thing--we women get hot, sweat, etc. same as men. I took off my tshirt and finished a half-marathon in a sports bra alone (well, and running shorts, lol) twenty years ago in Spokane, WA--not exactly a bastion of the liberal viewpoint. I did get some appraising looks but for the most part, nobody seemed to care. I sure didn't care--I was hot.
Anyway. When I work out now, I wear an underwire super supportive sports bra, and since I have several from the same company, some are plain black and some are definitely quite the opposite--and definitely meant to be seen. I do usually wear a matching tunic tank top sort of thing over my sports bra, but that's because I'm more comfortable with something covering my midriff.

Ok I get it. Sports bras are no more revealing than a bikini top and are comfortable for woman.
Just to show you how times have changed, gyms were that popular when I was a teen.
My dad sometimes went to the gym, there was only one in the area.
Sunday was the only co-ed day. Other days of the week were reserved for just men or just women.
My Mrs needs one for when she works out. Without one she would risk damaging her back . They are essentials for ladies with big boobs . For flesh on display they don't show much as they are not intended to be.
