So now that i know more about the forums and rules Embarassed

i want to see what advice i can get.
Ive tried saying hi and how has your day been to start conversations with people on my friends lists and on chats but it doesn't seem to have any affect and i always get ignored. SO MY QUESTION IS, what should we guys say to get your attentions? Also maybe what i should do to make my self seem more appealing to people that know nothing about me? thanks guys smile

A couple of things I would suggest would be to post more in the forums, especially the games. They are a great place to meet people here and it's a way for Lushies to learn more about you. People have gotten my attention sending me a PM along with a friend request stating why they want to be my friend usually showing that they've read my profile and not "you have a nice ass." (i.e., same music or books in common) I've also had people send me messages after reading something I posted in the forums with conversation and friendship developing from there.

Last but definitely not least, read, comment, AND vote on stories. A lot of times authors will send you a thank you message, and you can have friendships form that way as well. I've made a bunch of friends after reading/commenting on a story.

Seriously? Do you talk to people in real life? Trying hard not to be overly critical, which currently is a huge challenge for me but come on man have you ever heard the phrase you only get one chance to make a first impression? Luckily here you have an opportunity to start anew whenever you want if you so choose so listen to the pretty lady above and for god's sake be genuine, original, and respectful.
