Sex to me and our FWB group is basically recreational,it's not " loving" as in a committed relationship. We enjoy the physical interactions and obviously the climax. We are all bi so there are no restrictions on what we do and who we do it with.
Having both male and female partners is wonderful as far as variety is concerned.

I must say that I am in the the group who asks why this question was even asked. That said, there are shades of reasoning. I have had sex with my husband because he wanted it, even though I was not especially interested at the time. And, surprisingly, the reverse has also been true. It is the culmination of love, but is also the fulfillment of a primal drive and desire.
