I don't use lube very often, most of the time I'm dry. I think the term "dry" is a bit of an oxymoron, though. I have my own lubricant, natural secretions and all that.

I'm not circumcised which I think can make a difference. Usually I go dry. For prolonged sessions I usually use a lube, sometimes adding it part way through when I realize I will be prolonging the session. When receiving a hand job from a partner, massage therapist, or whomever I always prefer lube. Another person doesn't have the direct feedback to know how each stroke actually feels and the lube can prevent any significant chance of discomfort.
