I guess it depends where you go. Different countries have different rules. Also if you go to a mainstream one in the UK you have to sit on your hands!! I appreciate the girls have to/ want to earn money and I can honestly say I don't blame them. If you've got it, flaunt it. But at the end of the day each to their own. For me, I have mixed reactions though.
On the one hand the girls put on a great show - some are just slutty, some are sensual about their routine. As it is just entertainment and not a prelude to sex... You get all revved up, with no place to go - if you get my drift.
I would much rather spend time and money with someone where the result can be different, if I impress her.
