I'm sure there is a good reason but when I tried to log into a room it said error only 25 people allowed. is that to keep things moving speedily or is it a server resource limitation? Just wondering.

It's a chat speed limit.
We had very many people complain about the chat being unreadable and very hard to handle when we allowed more people in the chat rooms.
When there is 25+ in a room a new one will open and all who try to enter the crowded room will be asked if they want to join that instead.
Some mornings I come around and there are more people in the bedroom 2 than in the bedroom. So it can be real fun in the bedroom 2 (from what I make out of that)
