That's why I find this one weird. Usually everything that uses "www.lushstories.com" is down while things with their own sub-site like forums.lushstories.com and tube.lushstories.com work. However, profiles and the home page are working this time and those fall under "www.lushstories.com".

I think that Gav is updating the software or something tech like that. They have said they are really sorry and trying to work it out. There are many people and lots of stories on this site and it takes awhile to get it all updated.

I was a paid member (Gold and Silver) for 2 years and is now an honorary Bronze member (for life?) due to my contributions. I have not paid for membership since because of the many misfunctions of this site. There is not really any substantial benefits between paid and non paid members on this site, except for some small limitations of a few postings and chat.

sorry folks, we've been through a (long) period of instability for a while. the issue happens randomly and causes certain pages to break while others function as expected. i have tried a myriad of different approaches from running traces to pre-compiling.
i had a bit of a break-through this week. it turns out there is a similar issue reported where the server will drop some some critical data under memory pressure. i have applied the suggested workaround on both our web servers today so i'm hoping for some stability to return to the site.

Ahhhh, Memory Pressure....that's a forgotten risk of utilizing floppy drives. They are a proven technology, but many people are unaware of how dangerous it is to work in your environment.
