It is just like Lush to not inform paying members of anything impacting our services. No wonder they are losing members and revenue. Anyone else feel the same? Sailaway
I've worked in IT all my life, i know that "shit happens" sometimes, but we always keep the customers informed, give them a reason and an estimated fix time, even if that is sometimes not met. It's been 12 hours now, no updates, nothing. Doesn't seem to be a priority to get it running again or at least keep us informed.

Do you actually have evidence for this statement? I haven't seen much sign of shrinkage since a bunch left after the switch to this software. We have been having record numbers of stories published in comps, constantly full story queus, and readership on my stories at least remains strong. And activity on the forums is fairly steady (I don't chat so can't speak to that). If the site is losing members beyond the usual coming and going, I am not seeing it.

I think that's rather unfair. There is not a huge business running this site with a 24 x 7 Support Desk or Development team and bear in mind many are now on holiday given the time of year. I posted above when I became aware of the problem, after crawling out of bed, enjoying my first cup of tea and snap, crackle and pop. Oh before that I was asleep...
