Supernatural RolePlay

Would anyone be interested in starting up a supernatural type Roleplay in the chats? I love RP and thought it maybe something to start up in the chatrooms. I briefly opened a room today but most people did not even read the description, we were RP'ing as a wolf pack and i got told that was too weird for lush. Just thought it might be an interesting thing to start if there are any out there that enjoy RP as much as me.

When doing the supernatural thing it's rather important to not have it borderlining our banned topics. ( / /beastiality/drugging/death)
Just being a wolfpack isn't all that bad, but when it starts getting sexual it's an issue that breaks(can break) our guidelines.

I do however find some supernatural RP to be very interesting and if you ever feel uncertain about if an RP theme is doable or not you could see if a chat moderator is online and ask them before hand if they think it would be alright.

Enough of that. I must say this RP thing tickles my fancy. I get a bit excited and curious about it.

How do you go about doing the RP?
Do you have a background story or do you just pick a scene add the people to it ?
Do you have like a narrator/GM with the basics and then some people doing there roles?
Or do you go on complete improvisation?

Been ages since I filled in a character sheet.

Supernatural role play? Why not? Just remember what Catnip said... watch the subject so you don't accidently move into the Don't Go There Zone. Ghosts, aliens, superhero, go for it.

Some years ago I got to experience fantasy/supernatural RP and it was lots of fun. It all began when I joined a supernatural author's forum and they had RP threads. At first it was really weird because it was all new to me but I became to love it. There were packs but of different kinds of weres: werewolves, weretigers, werefoxes. Also vampires, fairies, witches, etc etc. Then I met furries/anthros and that was another learning experience. In my experience this kind of RP is not for all (naughty or not), but for those who love the supernatural and fantasy world, it is one great adventure.

From what I've seen and read, and not just in RP but in writing, is the biggest concern because of all the shape shifting, and when not to do it. Know when to keep it human and include this in your chatroom rules. As you said, most people didn't read the description which means they didn't read the rules either, so I would advise an invitation/password protocol to better qualify your participants. This way you can spend more time playing and less on the banhammer. violent1

scot_CH is right. Any sexual activities regarding werewolves or any other supernatural creature, must be in human form otherwise it crosses the line to beastiality and must be consensual and not mind controlled etc. But besides that, it sounds like fun and I wouldn't mind watching if no-one minded (too shy to participate).

I don't know....I'm thinking The Exorcist. This might be a good way to spin your head 180 degrees. You have to watch out for the pea green vomit too. Shit! I'm calling a priest, where's the holy water? Help I'm beginning to levitate!!!!
