When in Chat...

is there a way to leave and go back to Lush proper? All I can figure is to close out and reopen the sire entirely. Or is it expected that users always open Chat as a separate tab to begin with?

I thought I found a way but forget now. Not that I hang out in chat much, just pop in now and then and immediately remember why I prefer forums. 😊

Actually, hitting the back button worked for me but not sure if that works if you're in a room. Might have to hit it a couple times.

The other thing you could do is instead of just clicking on the Chatroom, right click and choose Open in New Tab. On mobile, at least in Chrome, press and hold the link until the menu opens. That way you still have Lush on a tab that you can switch back to.

That is what I have been doing, but sometimes forget. I know that Chat is a whole separate function from Lush with a different draw, but it seems a simple LUSH HOME button would be an easy and convenient thing.

I have only gone in a few times lately after giving up on it years ago. It is just as cliquey and unwelcoming as it was before, but with a lot more voices.

Clicking a name to view the profile works best (i click and view my own)

This will open the selected profile in a new tab, though.

Like any social setting, cliques can be dissolved by adding new names and faces to the scene.

Everyone is welcome at anytime.

As I have said before, I just find online chat hard to keep with, especially a busy chat room. Forums are asynchronous so I have time to formulate thoughts and edit. For those that are into it, I am sure chat is great but other than the odd one-on-one, it just doesn't work well for me.

I close the window and it logs you off automatically not like on Lush V1 that it shows you still "active in room" when you aren't even logged on anymore.

I just click on a random avatar on the members list, then go to their profile. That brings the top menu bar back.
