I am rather new here and I always check the profile first. It is not a contest for the most people on your friends list. If my list gets to large I have a hard time keeping up. I like to get to know each one a little bit on a personal level or at least know were in the world they are. It makes the earth seem small at times. Reading some of their stories or what stories they like tells me a lot about that person. I have a very dirty,nasty,kinky imagination and hope they do too.

I always read the profile and look at image gallery or photo album, if they exist. I also read their forum responses, if available. That tells me a lot about a member.

I get irritated when someone new whispers me then starts asking questions that are already answered in my profile, I f I plan on chatting with someone I always look at the profile and refresh myself about them and refer to it from time to time. Hint people.... just looking at profile pictures is Not reading their profile.
