How many of you, actually look at the PROFILE of the person you're asking to be friends with?

I always read profile. Sometimes I take the risk and send the request even if the profile is almost empty. but there are some certain things, when I see them on a profile, I never send the request

I always read it. I always read the profile of the person who may be requesting to join me too.

I always do. I never send out freind requests. But when I get one I make it a point to learn something about who is asking.

BTW it really annoys me when someone sends me a request and all he writes is Hi and then when I check out his profile there is nothing there either. This happens to me all the time.

I always read as much as I can on a persons profile this way if we friend I have and idea of how the friend wants to share their ideas and thoughts and have the best talks, gotta know what someone is looking for

I always read the profiles of people who ask to be a friend and almost always add them by their profile, once in a while I can gamble and add someone with a very limited profile- sometimes it pays off and sometimes it doesn't

Always. When you leave them a comment it nice to mention that you and the other person have something in common or like the same things. You should never just be a friend collector.

I always read- won't accept unless I can find something in common with the person who is sending the request. I really hate getting the ones with no profile- either you can't be bothered, have something to hide or are just boring!! cat

I don't issue friend requests, but after accepting every friend request my first couple of days here, and ending up with some less than savoury characters as friends, I learned my lesson and now I look at profiles before I accept a request.

Oh I definitely look at the profile before sending a request. I also check it out when I get a friend request. I think everyone mostly does that. Otherwise I would have as many profile views as friends.

I always check out the profile before making or accepting a request. From time to time I'll check profiles out just to see what the person is interested in.

Always. I try and make sure we have some of the same interests before adding or sending f/r. unlike some people, I keep my friends list for people I talk to not just to jack up the count.

Not really, yes I ALWAYS read the profiles. Empty ones normally get a pass unless we've met previously in a chat room.

I always read profile. An avatar may catch my eye but it is what and how a person expresses themselves that attracts me enough to want them in my circle.

I always read the profiles, if the profile doesn't interest me why would they, and at 47 I am not looking for children, there is no common ground, so why bother?
