It has been legal in Canada for 8 years with some regulations and controls on sale at the provincial level, similar to how we handle alcohol. Minimum age and government controlled distribution chain, that sort of thing.

Learned today that THC is fat soluble, meaning that if you eat an edible, you should have it with something fatty like peanut butter, cheese, ranch dressing, etc to get the full effect. It is. But it will be January 2027 until we get recreational dispensaries. It's been legal since 2021. Luckily Maryland isn't that long a drive.

In Virginia, the maximum number of recreational dispensaries is limited to 350 across the state. I think that is in lne withmostother states that permit recreational ones.
