If I'd have to guess my own lifetime ratio, first I'd say that right now I'm currently somewhere near 70% masturbation / 30% sex: I usually have sex with a girl at least once a week during the weekend, but then masturbate 2-3 times during the week. That's about 66-75% masturbation: I can also skip a week sometimes where I don't see any girls, but then it also happens that I don't masturbate much during the week, sometimes only once during the whole week. So 70% masturbation / 30% sex seems pretty accurate to me currently.
Now the most difficult part would be to evaluate my overall lifetime ratio. Of course I had times where I was solely masturbating (eg. during my adolescence, after a breakup where I was fed up with girls), but then I also had periods where I was very active sexually, for example when I was living with a girl and we could have sex every day of the week for the first few months of the relationship.
Overall, I'd still say 70% masturbation / 30% sex for my lifetime ratio (that's having masturbated about as twice as having sex). I have absolutely no idea how accurate this is though: maybe I underestimate the times I jerked off when I was a teenager, haha.
I'd be curious to see how others evaluate themselves...
Very interesting topic... and I agree - certainly easier to figure out current %'s but over a lifetime lol... pure guesstimate.
Currently my ratio is roughly 5x a week masturbating vs. 2-3 times having sex - but... the later can vary - too often lower lol...
As for lifetime (which for me is nearing a half century)... I was a virgin until nearly 20 so 100% before that lol... then 5+ years of a ton with one GF... then after we broke up, a few years of probably 70/30... then future wife GF, engaged and early marriage had lots... but then a slow slide down to today's #'s...
It's funny to think if I had a counter with me to click each time lol... the grayest area to guess is the early teen to lost virginity point... those years could skew the data quite a bit lol... but the 10+ years after that point might balance things out...
So after all that error prone analysis... I'm going to flip a coin on 80/20 or 70/30... coin flipped... 70/30... lol...

And I agree, this is hard to evaluate considering all the different periods of sexual activity one can go through.
And there's also a certain bias if you consider the difference between an 'orgasm' and a 'session'. When I meet a girl during the weekend, I usually orgasm 2-4 times over the same encounter (usually 2 times in the evening, and then 1-2 time(s) as either a morning-quickie or a proper afternoon-fuck).
But then, even though I only orgasm from masturbation 1-3 times during the week, I love to edge and to masturbate without ejaculating. So if I count the times I only play with my dick instead, it's more like 4-5 masturbation sessions per week.
So my orgasms are more like: 2 from masturbation / 3 from sex = 40% masturbation / 60% sex
And my sessions are more like: 4 from masturbation / 1 from sex = 80% masturbation / 20% sex
But my initial 70% masturbation / 30% sex still seems pretty accurate of the time I spend masturbating as compared to the time I spend fucking a girl.
I'd plump for a more level playing field. I didn't masturbate very much when I was young. From my early 20's until about 10 years ago I rarely masturbated, sex was always the prefered option. It's only the last 10 to 12 years that it's become prolific.
I'd say 40/45% sex to 55/60% masturbation.
