Somebody once gifted me Gold membership, which was a wonderful thing to do. It meant a lot to me. I didn't know they were going to do it until they had, and I was truly grateful for the thought and kindness.
I was also given some incredible gifts (both material and emotional) from a small group of Lushies who have made my Lushlife something that is indescribably part of me now, even away from the site. Because of it, I have not only discovered and been able to grow my love of writing, but I have been truly awed and humbled that such people could think so much of somebody like me. I have been given true friendship, quite aside from the material gifts they have given me.
It restored my faith in humanity. Normally I will flatly refuse offers of material goods, but when something is freely and suddenly sent with such sincerity, I couldn't refuse the gestures for my own foolish pride.

Awwwww this almost made me tear up a little bit. Sometimes in today's society it's hard to believe there are good people out there that care. Lush is the last place I thought I would find great friends but as an introvert it actually works very well. Thanks for sharing!
I was gifted Gold Membership for Lush by my best female friend here. I didn't know about it either until a gold badge appeared on my avatar. It blew me away that someone thought about me, let alone gave me a gift. Gestures like that are few and far between. It wasn't the gift that impressed me, it was the gesture. I love her for that and she knows it.
