We have an Alberta king bed. We had a custom bed frame made with a bookcase headboard. Our mattress is first covered by a full waterproof cover. Over that we have a washable heavy mattress pad then nice dark cotton sheets. The bedroom walls are hung with artistic pornagraphic artwork. The lighting tiny led string lights that circle both the floor and ceiling.
Studio apartment, so I get ambient lighting from the clocks on the stove and microwave. Full-size IKEA bed with a mattress on top of wooden slats. I was realizing this morning that this cheap setup will NOT be structurally sufficient to host the threesome that my inamorata and I are planning.
Nothing too fancy. Queen bed with one of those adjustable frames (wife likes to elevate her legs at times). Nice furniture in red "cherry" finish including a headboard. It's a big house with a master suite so we have a walk-in closet and 4-piece bathroom (separate shower and tub) and can close the whole suite off with a privacy lock on the door (not that we do anymore now that the kid is gone).

It's a rather large room at the rear of our house, with 2 oversized double hung windows on the rear wall that overlook a good sized deck & the back lawn. The houses behind it are a little over 100' away, with their rears facing the our rear. There are another 2 double hung windows on 1 side, & a neighbor's house about 50' away on either side. Our bed is queen sized, & sits on the center of the room with the head against 2 wall. It has am antique brass finish headboard & footboard, & a lighted ceiling fan directly above it. There are 2 nightstands, 1 on each side, each with a lamp on them. A mirrored vanity is against 1 wall, & an armoire against another The lighting is good, but dimmable. There's also a walk-in closet accessible thru a door on 1 side wall. The room has gray walls
