Do you know the height of the Eiffel Tower? (Don't worry we'll get back to sex). You probably don't, but if ask you and an hundred other people, to guess the height of the Eiffel Tower, the average of these guess, would be pretty close to the right answer. Well, a major on-going study about cheating by married men and women was just released. So, I know the answer, but let's see how well we guess.

So what percentage have cheated (anytime in the marriage)?

What percentage of women (again anytime in the marriage)?

Bonus points for also guessing the height of the Eiffel Tower.
I'm going to say 45% of the men, and about 30% of the women (a little higher for those over 40) have cheated at one point or another of their marriage
I'm going to say the Eiffel Tower is 950 feet high
I cheated guessing the height of the Eiffel Tower.

But I'd say 35% for both sexes. I know one percentage will be higher for a certain gender, but I have no reason to lean on one side over the other.

It's hard to tell actually. I mean, were young married couples accounted? If they take into account these couples, few of them will have cheated already, but they still might after a few more years of marriage. Also, does it count if the couple is in the procedure of divorce?

The number of people who will cheat at one point during their marriage will be higher than the number of people who actually did cheat as of yet.

But I stand with my 35% over the total course of marriages. Out of that percentage, I'd say that half is a one-time occurrence, while the other half is people having an affair.
I would say 40% of men have cheated
and 37% of women
and the tower is 1100 feet?
I'm not married but the Eiffel Tower is 325 metres tall or around that anyways.
I've been up the Eiffel Tower many times, the odd thing is it was different each time. The height can vary, by about 5 metres I think, according to the temperature. A best guess would be 323m.
I think the previous answers are Lush based and not a real reflection of society, I think we are a lot more monogamous. I would guess that men do cheat more than women. I also think both fantasize more than actually "do the deed".
My guess is men 20% and women 15%.

Around 40 or so, men start losing interest in their wives and the women start to wonder if they can still attract a man, so I think the numbers will rise a bit around that time
30% i guess ... and i think the height of eiffel tower is around 320 m ....
