Writing in a crowded house.

Sometimes I find it very hard to write my stories because I have a house full of people all the time. I am constantly getting interrupted and re-read them over and over. When you do this enough times, it tends to lose some of the erotic feel to it. I have found that having the computer read it back to me in my headsets, tends to help a lot. I close my eyes and listen as if I am hearing it for the first time. Does this sound familiar to anyone else?

Not really. Each to their own I guess. I usually write when I'm alone. I do get disturbed sometimes but not too much. Sometimes I write on my phone and other people are around but it's easy to zone out.
I'm an inveterate insomniac, so I usually write after the guys are asleep. Unfortunately, my own writing bores me so much lately, it usually puts me to sleep!

Call me next time. I will keep you awake. We can collaborate on a really good story, I am sure.

I have different issues (not being "out" about my writing being the big one) but I am intrigued by this idea. I read it "out loud" (whisper at least) to myself at times to check the cadence of dialogue and such but this might be an alternative.
