I got my hair cut into a bob for the first time recently. Well, slightly longer than that, so a lob. I used to have super long hair down to my ass, but I'm enjoying the edgier ways I can style my hair now. Sermon over.

My hair is brown, straight and very long at the moment. I get puppy dog eyes when I mention getting it cut, lol.

For work, I usually just tie it into a messy bun when it's still a bit wet in the morning. If I'm leaving it down, I can just leave it. It'll dry straight. Pretty low maintenance thankfully. I don't like fussing with it much.

Every now and again I get it chopped to chin length and then just let it grow. Should really try switching it up haha.

have worn my hair (dirty blonde and straight) just past my shoulders for ages. been letting it go, though, for a while now so that it's midway down my back. kind of a pain sometimes, but when i put some effort into it, it looks nice. find myself jut tying it back a lot. actually, lately, i've been going with a braid. very rapunzelesque. smile

This has been a fascinating read because I am in the process of doing a total do over with my hair. Until the spring when my divorce was final I had a kind of shoulder length bob, but now I have begun growing it out. I haven't had long hair since I was in , but now at 39 I am single and changing my whole look completely. Long hair gives so many more options and I am looking forward to trying them

It was half a foot past my shoulders for a while, some decades ago. I never learned styling, and it was costing money in shampoo and extra water. Sometimes it fell over my food. Now I keep it under an inch so I don't need a comb or shampoo. The first few attempts to cut it myself were lols for other people.

Mine is very dark brown almost black and it’s long and thick. I braid it for work and tuck it under at my neckline. During the day I wear it loose or in a ponytail.
