Acrobatics are a bit of a new wave in ballet. The combination is interesting and creates more of an exaggerated spectacle that non-balletomanes find exciting and modern... kind of like what Cirque de Soleil did originally. I think it's very cool, although I know a lot of people that frown upon anything taking away from the classical. Personally I'm all for mixing it up. Then again, my focus has always been more on contemporary dance than classical ballet so that's probably not totally surprising. smile

Nevermind the technical speech above (I joke)....what on EARTH are those guys heads/arms made of.

I could do with some of her balance too....might stop me tripping over my own feet/walking into doors that kind of thing..
