I'm posting this on behalf of member hurricane8993 (https://www.lushstories.com/profile/hurricane8993).

He had contacted the help desk regarding the use of Reader View.

"If I access a story from my notifications I can switch to "Reader View" but hitting CTRL Q or "Reader View" from the drop down. However, if I go to new stories (not on my notifications) that option does not occur. I prefer the reader view because you can more easily control going up/down as you read the story with arrows instead of the slide bar. Any information on this item would be appreciated. Thanks!"

I couldn't recreate the issue. He sees it with the Wave browser (Chrome-based), MS Edge, and Google Chrome. Subsequently, he added, "Interesting thing. Member Wet_n_willing (https://www.lushstories.com/profile/Wet_n_willing) made a status update about a story they wrote with a link. Reader view would not work when I clicked the link. But it did work when I clicked on the notification of the actual story."

Has anyone out there experienced this or have a suggestion?

I've never heard of Reader View. I don't see a drop down on any story and Ctrl Q doesn't do anything. Am I doing something wrong or is this the problem?
G Chrome on box and phone.

Reader View is a neat browser extension that strips away everything on a web page except for the primary article. Some browsers have a native version, while others need it to be added. CTRL-Q doesn't do anything for me, but I suppose it works for the Wave browser.

I've attached screenshots with Reader View off and on.
