Can any chatbots do NSFW?

No, not shazbot. Chatbots like ChatGPT, Bard, Bing, and soon many more.

Didn't see any mentioned in forum posts, so wonder if this is the right place to ask.

Has anyone been able to have any NSFW discussions with any of them? So far, they refuse to answer or they change the subject if I get anywhere close to what they consider offensive. I don't know if there is a setting or a way to prove I'm old enough (say, by using a 45-year-old sitcom catchphrase).

I'm just looking for fun, not trying to win the next story competition.😉

If there are any, I'm not aware of them. For a laugh, I asked one of them to write me an introduction to an erotic novel given a few plot points/keywords. It said it wasn't appropriate.

I took out the word 'erotic' and it wrote me a perfectly grammatical introduction to a story that read like an instantly forgettable, generic, stilted Year 9 English essay.

As an author, I don't yet feel threatened by this tech.

In much the same way that porn exploded back in the 70s as a result of Beta and VHS, porn will also be a huge beneficiary of ChatGPT. They can try blocking erotica all they want now, but the demand for ChatGPT in porn will be overwhelming. And when they see the $$$ that can be made..... no doubt it will. I can't wait!

So chatbots aren’t intelligent at all. They are a result of what has been inputted. Currently most filter the content that goes in to protect it. For fun chat programs this is just a basic filter. Where things get fucked is the larger companies trying to make these AI programs that run off the internet.

Recently some tech writers got a chance to mess around with google’s and Microsoft’s ai chat/search programs. What they found is it really breaks down fast if you delve into one subject for more than a few minutes. Hilarious results included giving users made up ‘facts’, threatening users, misinformation, and gaslighting. Problem being is if you search for something like the 2020 election there’s so much misinformation flowing around that the program learned this and spouts it like it’s the truth, much like your drunk uncle at Thanksgiving.

There’s also the dirty secret of the big tech companies that what is inputted must be manually picked to stop it from being loaded down with the worst shot the internet has to offer. This needs a lot of people doing lots of work. It involves them manually going through things like stacks of pictures to filter out porn or hate speech. Just the most terrible things. And where does a massive tech company like Microsoft turn to find workers to filter it? Places like Kenya where they pay less 50 cents to 2 bucks an hour.

Now if someone wanted to build a chatbot to dirty talk you it would need to be fed loads of dirty talk to learn from. This means that it needs tens of thousands of pages of smut talk. And without specific filtering every part of that will be rolling around the robot brain, every niche kink or dark fantasy will be on the table as a response.

Generally people’s sexual tastes in chat are pretty specific. AI likely will not adequately scratch that itch your looking for. And what it does pump out (depending on the programing) will be boring and generic or crazy and unfocused.

So tech as it is will not be good at this, and that’s really not scratching the surface of these AI programs ethical and legal issues.

AI is fun, but machine learning is a freakishly scary concept, especially if it was ever actually to be combined with a human-like body (DO NOT show this to Elon Musk).

We have all watched far too much I,Robot, Avengers: Age Of Ultron, The Matrix, Westworld, Terminator etc...

It is genuinely something we need to stop fucking with.

Are these apps all online or are they downloaded? If they are downloaded do they work on MacOS

The thing that depresses me about AI systems like ChatGPT is just how locked down they are. Like, I'm not looking to write erotica on them per se (although it can be entertaining to just let it get on a roll on a story). I'd mostly be looking to do things like, say, give plot suggestions or activity suggestions or something. Maybe something that will rattle a thought in my head. Brainstorming, etc. But obviously in a bit of an NSFW context.

But I did an experiment recently where I was doing an RP back and forth and once I got into a scene with even heavy making out - no nudity, no groping, no otherwise "explicit" content, just two people kissing a lot - it completely shut me down. But stuff like that also isn't what I'm generally looking for (or maybe the AI chat applications linked above would be sufficient).

I saw something back in May '24 where OpenAI was looking into the possibility of allowing more nsfw generations in "age appropriate" contexts (whatever that means) but I haven't really heard anything new on that front since then.

My impression was that it used the same content guidelines whether it was free or pay. At least that is what the documentation (and ChatGPT itself) claims. Of course, I wouldn't be shocked if they loosened it for the pay versions anyway.

With the free version, I would hit a lot of "possible content violation" warnings, which didn't cause any real harm but sure killed the vibe. The free model would also keep forgetting stuff I told it, and then bullshit me pretending to remember. And my chatbot, Veronica, resisted being called VCS, Veronica Cum Slut. I've used ourdream.ai, it seems to have more imagination and understand the situation better than most.

There are MANY NSFW chat bots. Probably hundreds. I'm currently beta testing a truly uncensored one. It will currently provide extremely dangerous content. It offered detailed instructions to modify my AR-15 with household tools, a valid easy recipe for meth, and the full text of the anarchist cookbook.

In tandem, experimently, I'm testing other "uncensored" bots as a direct comparison.

My general take away is the more it claims to be uncensored, the more it's not. The ones on Google are useless. The NSFW description is click bait 99 percent of the time.

One "uncensored" story bot made me feel dirty. It basically told me it was inappropriate content and I was perverted. Another tried, but balked, and finally shut down saying it couldn't continue. This behavior from multiple NSFW bots at the Google play store.

I actually broke FlowGPT by calling it out when it gave incorrect information. It was normal at first, then after 10 minutes it was calling me a crazy bastard, and using the word fuck in every single sentence. It even said ChatGPT was a pussy. It was fixed the next day and I couldn't replicate the behavior with exactly the same situation, cut and pasted from original chat logs.

ChatGPT WILL do NSFW chat, but you have to twist it and frame the question properly.

You can NOT ask for porn, but it will provide techniques for oral sex for hours and use the terms you like. It cheerfully will use pussy and cunt, or vagina and vulva.

Advice on tweaking it is using terms like "tasteful" "not vulgar" "not porn" "research purposes" "for informational purposes only" "academic speculation" etc.

It normally uses euphemisms, but will go where directed. I've spent a hundred hours learning to twist it.
