For the past week my monitor had been having a hard time coming on. I would have to unplug it several times to get it to come on. After many tries today it finally came on but is all yellow looking. Thankfully i still have my laptop but it isnt very good.
You can get fairly good 22-23" monitors for a fairly reasonable price these days so no reason to stick with a bad one unless you're really in dire straits financially. We use Acers which are good, reliable, reasonably priced workhorses but there are better ones (Samsung used to build a pretty good monitor though I haven't sampled their recent products) if you've got more cash to spend.
