Well done! My 10 days was a minor miracle.

I got a little drunk last night too, I had to, considering the dinner's entree..

A minor miracle it's still a miracle. Hey that's how I stopped smoking (years ago) a minor miracle at time.

Now I'm smoke free and that's a big one in todays age.

Since your topic (about 6-8 months ago) on giving up on coffee, I have had "minor miracles" along the way and today I can say that it's been two months that I haven't had any coffee (drip/percolator) so, Thank You. I do have my guilty pleasure of one small espresso about daily. So I have considerably cut down on caffeine and... the milk required. Yuk, this from someone who never drank milk not even as a kid.

I thought I had restless leg syndrome, also I used to wake up every morning as a zombie. Can only be the coffee, no other changes.

The alcohol (actually mostly wine) well ahhh hmmmm this one aaargh and I have a new wine to taste that is been looking at me.

Well done on the coffee front keoloke!
Well, February is over. How did everybody do?
After the 10th, not so great...
I don't so I'm ok. However, don't ask me to give up . The answer will always be

A few post above it says how I fared. To summarize: Two drinks for the month.

A good read about this topic

OK now what? What are we giving up or limiting this month? Hey we're already holding the bull by the horns.. one minor miracle at a time.

It was a noble effort, nicola. Definitely worth a try.
i had a few, but not a lot. i cut down from pretty much needing something every day to having one or two occasionally to take the edge off. and no hard stuff in regards to both drink and drugs. all in all, i'm pretty proud of myself. ok, that said, i'm going to go pour myself a drink now...

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Proud of you for taking a responsible attitude.!!
The longest I have gone without a drink, in the last 11 years is about 2 weeks. I had the flu.
