A beautiful friend lost her life to cancer today
Another of mine I had to create some much needed space from her demanding and selfish behavior.
I am only human. I can only try to be a positive influence. Thats the only small thing I can do to in this mad world.

This is such an important thing to know.
Each of us is dealt a hand in this journey called "life."
We don't have to win every trick, every hand. All we can do is play every hand we are dealt the best possible way it can be played.
In order to be sure to do that as often as possible, we must love life, and see how to play cards in the best way each time. So we are joyful to have the chance to play another hand each day, and we learn how to play better and better every day. Then when we play each hand, the best we can each day, we come to learn to love our lives, regardless of our "circumstances."
