I just had a baby 5 months ago and this is what I did to get back in shape. 1/2 Cardio in the morning & 1 hour of Cardio in the evening. Alternate days rotate body parts using weights. Every other day do 260 squats. Food: No carbs, sugar or junk food what so ever. Only eat Protein, Veg and Fruit. My "cheat" was coffee mid day. Never eat anything after dinner and don't eat dinner after 6-6:30 latest. Make sure to work out after.

I did this I want to say 6-7 days a week. It works but it sucks! lol.

I dance. in order to stay flexible I take yoga classes once a week and I dance in a studio with a class every other day of the week. It keeps me pretty trim
Running. All day, everyday
Haha "sexercise."

I prefer swimming, biking, and running.

1. Swimming is good for the cardiovascular and I love the feel of water around me. It's a great stress relief method, and swimming in a nice clean pool feels like the beach in a way. I also get sexy tan lines ;)

2. Biking is another good cardiovascular exercise. It keeps your heart and lungs in great shape, and you really work those leg muscles!

3. Running is good because you get to work your arms by pumping them and your legs will get shapely and toned.

To summarize, these three are all great ways to get in shape. I usually jog in the morning (7am), then go to the local university pool, and bike ride on weekends smile Very snazzy.
I run in the morning

Does that actually work?

I just bought a pair of rollerblades and protective gear (I have a horrible habit of falling and breaking a bone on my body and/or spraining something). Since there's no snow and the temps are nice, I'm going to enjoy the spring-like weather until it decides to change again.

I run daily, also coach 2 girl's soccer teams...
I usually play golf 2-3 times a week, so I might end up walking about 15km. I do a clinical Pilates once a week and I try to cycle as much as I can in between. I had not been on the bike since before xmas and 35km just about killed me in the heat and humidity today. I would love to jog. I lived to jog when I was in my teens, but these days I develop shin splints within a few days.
I run 3 days a week, go to the gym 2-3 times a week, and generally eat healthy. It has worked well so far.

Oh wow! Another soulmate

I was told recently I had to exercise more, so now I roll my own fags and drink standing up.....
I was delighted when my doctor told me not to run or jog because of knee damage. Non-impact excerise was what he recommended smile
.....and yes, that is on the menu, but I also walk now - usually do 25 miles a week, some short but at least one 12 mile one which over our hills keeps the blood moving.
I don't actually have to do a lot in order to stay fit... I study an equine course which pretty much covers all the exercise I need anyway so, including that:

- Cycling (part of my travel to and from college)
- Walking/walking the dog
- Running (half an hour 3 - 6 times a week)
- Horse riding
- Yard work (without doubt the most tiring form of exercise I do!)
I eat healthily....n go to the gym 3 times a week for about 3 hours.....
I use the cardi n tone machines....
plus aqua aerobics one a week....
walk mostly every where....
and as long as i feel great, that's all that maters......
Eat a balanced diet, manual/heavy lifting farm work and keeping up with the toddler.
Biking every chance I can seems to be working for me.
I started running 18 months ago - now I'm addicted. Last weekend I managed 7.6 miles, my furthest yet - was planning a 10-miler this weekend, but snow's stopped play! I just love it, I've lost weight, dropped a dress size, my legs and arse have toned and I get an unexpected sense of achievement from it. Never imagined in a million years I'd say it, but I have a marathon in sight within the year.
I'm terrible at exercising I've never done any or join a gym and completely unmotivated at times. I'm kind of lucky that I can eat as much as I want (healthily of course- very conscious about putting only natural food in my body) and not put on weight.
But the last several months I've made an effort to exercise so I don't become a decrepit old lady at 40. So I practise yoga and I love to run- I go running 3x a week plus I do 4 complete rounds of run/walk up 300 steps situated in a beautiful park 3x a week. I've noticed I've started to become even more toner smile
I like to do outdoor activities and have a friend to accompany me cos I like a bit of competition and gives me motivation :)

oh while reading in bed, I do sit ups and hold each one for like chapter - depending long the chapter is- it could be 10 pages or 2 short chapters... I've been doing this since I was 13 and its the secret to my tone stomach... secrets out now lol
Last week I was able to get back out and pound the pavement. I was surprised that my fitness is not as bad as I originally thought. Legs held up pretty good. A little sore on the shins and calves after the 3rd consecutive day (probably from running down hill), but usually my back ceased up after about 2km so the stretching I have been doing for the past 6 months has helped. Im excited about it and will do the same thing for the next 2 weeks then look to increase it gradually. I dont have a goal weight, just a goal shape. Actually, I dont want to lose any weight. I just want burn off a little excess body fat. Should not be hard to do.
Started this learn to be lean program at the gym and it's preety intense almost like boot camp! Meets for three hours and you do everything from strength training, muscle toning, tai chi, yoga, to just waking on the tread mill. Never thought I would join anything like this but they train your mind as well as your body, it's great!
Started to go to the gym last year, more as a way of controlling the middle age spread than to get pumped. Sadly my work hours have increased so I am spending less time there recently. Nevertheless, if someone had told me even two years ago that I would be going to the gym I would have laughed my head off.
