Anything with a beat really! David Guetta usually! lol
Uk 90's Indie Music!
Hip hop and R&B. (:
I like to listen to heavy industrial music with a bit of a beat to it. Really does work when something comes on my iPod and I need a little extra oomph to lift a weight or peddle harder on then bike.
I go about 500 years ago when it comes to running/cycling music....recently I've been using Fall Out Boy and, I hate to admit this but...My Chemical Romance. I also find Jay-Z is a really good one.
House, dubstep, The past few weeks the songs i've been listening to the most are songs by Avichii and Deadmau5 the beat in there songs really keeps me in a rhythm while running.
Anything that's got a good beat, really dynamic...The music has to encourage you to go on and not slow down smile
Rock Music, I love the drums, bass, everything about it.
Some songs get me like "OH YEAH!!" So I keep running with a goofy smile on my face biggrin
Rock and some rap! Keeps the adrenaline pumping!

If I'm lifting, I usually listen to the gym's satellite feed. It's pretty good. It's a PITA using the ipod when lifting.

If I'm doing cardio, I have a few playlists on the ipod. Hard rock, heavy metal, for intense cardio.
When I swim, i just hear the water swish by. The background music in the pool sucks ;)
I'm not a big dance music fan but I think it helps when doing cardio etc. Calvin Harris is a good shout.

I also quite like listening to Jay-Z when I run - I don't know why 99 Problems seems to work for me?? lol
Anything with an upbeat tempo
rock n roll is great - mix up the artists. put a bunch on your mp3 player and 'shuffle'. often times i'll hear a song i've not heard in a while and feel inspired. sure takes the mind off of the strain during a workout. smile
Anything I can flow or grind to. So from metal to classical. It's all got its appeal.
Sunlounger
Love begins with an image; lust with a sensation.
At home I listen to: Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and the such but also to local Pop radio with an appropriate beat for the occasion and equipment used.

When I'm outside most of the time I'm not listening to anything.
Choose n Practice Happiness

Life is simple; we are what we eat and what we read. Talk is superfluous.
1980s the songs are so upbeat. smile
I like to listen to a bit of rock or metal, led zep, metallica etc.
I listen to inspirational or motivational tapes..... a bit sad i know but it helps.
I listen to either Metal/Hard Rock or Inspirational music...depending on my mood really.
Depends on the exercise.

Is it yoga? I might be listening to some Ingrid Michelson, First Aid Kit, or Sarah Jaffe. (Just what I've been doing lately)

Is it martial arts? I don't actually do any martial arts that are really energetic in the training, but it's still a lot of movement. If it's that, though, it's whatever my teacher's in the mood for.

If I'm running, it's probably a mixed playlist of some kind, ranging from Bob Dylan to Everclear.
Anything with a good pulse... Right now I am going through a Latin pop phase inspired by Zumba... Daddy Yankee,, Don Omar... Other favs... Missy Elliot, Jay Z
"I'd much rather be a woman than a man. Women can cry, they can wear cute clothes, and they are the first to be rescued off of sinking ships."
— Gilda Radner
Like many before me....upbeat.

I like Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Motown, Al Green. But my favorite song to get up and run is Joe Jackson "Stepping out"
Same here with yoga. I like to use natural sound tapes/cds/dvds. But I like to walk too so I have an ipod loaded with a mix of tempos and songs to keep my thoughts on them instead of the natural stresses on the skeleto-muscular system.
Pantera - vulgar display of power
Please to meet ya, with meat to please ya
Work out at the gym to Calvin Harris and Ministry of Sound mixes.
I mostly use my home treadmill and use my Blackberry to listen to various stations on TuneIn and Slacker. Sometimes podcasts, sometimes various types of music. Depends on my mood.
