Jazz, Rock, depends on what I'm actually doing and if I'm with someone.
At the moment 'Arcade Fire'.
really depends on what i am doing and my mood.. usually 80's
Bryan Adams, AC/DC, few country stuff and weirdly, I isten to Footloose if I need a boost haha.
my rock and roll mixtape - all vintages, classic, 60s, 70s, 80s, etc. on a random playlist
I listen to reggaeton when i am working out and hip hop. when i am on the bike i listen to my comedy station on pandora. I will also switch and listen to old skool 80's and 90's on my light days.
'Speak Now' at the moment.
I get bored easily so I tend to change up my playlist often, however, I do tend to prefer dance/club/rave music the most as it seems to give me the jolt I need to get through some of my workouts.
Something with a fast tempo & beat ~
Gotta crank out the dub step when I lift, heavy drops keep me going
I listen to hip hop and R&b but if i am really into the workout i wont actually listen to nothing. its there for more background noise than anything else really.
i listen to metal like Disturbed or Rob Zombie, then classic rock like AC/DC or the Stones!
I always run or cycle on Metal or fast-paced and action-packed movie/game soundtracks.
I I listen to anything up beat. It could be hip hop, pop, rap, anything. As ling as it has a good beat going, I'm good.
I used to listen to dance/club music but have found lately songs from groups like disturbed and five finger death punch and others like them give me the jolt and drive to push through my workout and really put the effort in and not half ass it.
Love listening to 80's music.....especially Bruce Springsteen, dire straits, queen and David Bowie
Heavy rock
Upbeat alternative/indie rock/pop
Heavy techno
Exercising is also the only time you'll catch me listening to hip-hop and mainstream pop.
Hip hop, smooth listening Motown. Mostly instrumentals on my pandora station
Cardio - Dance stations on Iheartradio - Evolution, Pride, etc
Weights - Alt Rock / Pop
Nice thread, I'm a playlist freak.
Cardio: Depends. Am I outside or inside? Outside I play something upbeat and makes me think of summer. I usually have a Dave Matthews mix of live songs for bike riding.
Weight Lifting: The genre I don't listen to all that much. Rap and Hip hop with other things sprinkled in. My "main" playlist right now has songs from Lupe Fiasco, Eminem, Fallout Boy, Imagine Dragons, JET, Barenaked Ladies, Fort Minor, Matchbox 20, The Fratellis, TEB, Foster the People, and a couple more.
Steppenwolf, Kiss, Pointer Sisters, Metallica, Bon Jovi, and the Stones...fast, energizing, and something that makes me sweat..
